HSC results today

The results of this year's Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and its equivalent examinations will be published today.

Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid would formally announce the results at a press conference at his ministry around 1:00pm.

Before that, he would hand over a copy of the results to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at the Prime Minister's Office around 10:00am.

The examinees will get their results at their respective examination centres, websites of their respective education boards and through short message service (SMS) after 2:00pm, said ministry officials.

The results will also be available on the website -- http://www.educationboardresults.gov.bd.

A total of 12,18,628 students from 8,533 educational institutions had registered to sit for over the two-month-long examination under eight general boards, madrasa board and technical board, beginning from April 3.
