Four bodies spotted in the Bay

Some fishermen of Maheshkhali island have spotted four bodies floating in the Bay of Bengal.

Pradip Kumar Das, officer-in-charge of Maheshkhali Police Station, said local fishermen saw the bodies of four people, aged between 25 to 35 years, around 9:30am on Thursday and informed police.

Law enforcers were working to recover the bodies, he added.

Following the recovery, the bodies would be sent to Cox's Bazar Sadar Hospital for autopsies, the OC said.
