Foreign secy, Bernicat hold meeting

Foreign Secretary Md Shahidul Haque and US Ambassador to Bangladesh Marcia Bernicat had a meeting yesterday morning.

The hour-long meeting started at 10:30am at the State Guest House Padma.

"We have a deep ongoing partnership. The US continues to value that partnership," Bernicat said after her the meeting, adding it was a regular meeting where they discussed the deep and ongoing partnership between the two countries.

“The friendship that the two countries share together, the US believes that's the case yesterday and that's the case today," she said.
