A “preliminary” decision in this regard was taken at a meeting at Rail Bhaban in Dhaka, Amzad Hossain, director general of Bangladesh Railway, told The Daily Star yesterday.

Advance tickets for travelling on June 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15 would be sold on June 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 respectively, said a railway official of the Traffic Division.

Sale of the return tickets would start from June 9 and the holidaymakers would get the tickets for June 18 on that day (June 9).

Besides, return tickets for June 19, 20, 21 and 22 would be distributed on June 10, 11, 12 and 13, the official added.
