What other projects have you worked on this Eid?

Zahid: Well, I have done a mix of comedy and drama this year. I have completed two football-themed television serials called Fair Play and Football Faruk, which I am excited about. The audience can also see me in two tele-fictions called Back to Bachelor and Ringmaster er Ghora.

How do you feel now that shows directed by you are being aired on top TV channels?

Zahid: Acting is my first love, but I feel blessed to be able to don the director's hat now. I owe it all to the love and support of my audience and family.

What can you tell us about your two new films?

Zahid: I have worked on Shonibaar Bikel (Saturday Afternoon), a film by Mustafa Sarwar Farooki. I have also ventured into Kolkata's cinema with Sitara. We have shot for this film in India. I would say these two films will be significant for my career.
