Zahid Hasan to host National Film Awards

Popular TV actor Zahid Hasan has seen success in TV direction recently as well, and it looks like he is adding another feather to his hat.

The ever-smiling actor will be seen hosting the National Film Awards 2013 ceremony on April 4 at the Bangabandhu International Conference Centre, alongside Meher Afroze Shaon. 

Talking to The Daily Star, Zahid Hasan said “This will be my first time hosting the event; it's a great honour for me.

I had received the National Film Award for 'Srabon Megher Din' as well, so I know how special it is to be recognised by the state for your work.”

However, this will not be the first time Zahid Hasan will be on stage with the microphone in hand.

He has previously hosted the Meril-Prothom Alo Awards and Rtv Awards, too.
