Together after 19 years

When Purnima acted alongside National award-winning actor Raisul Islam Asad 19 years ago in Ebong Bhalobasha, she was still a newcomer. Fast forward to today, Purnima now rules over the hearts of Bangladeshi people with her grace and charm. The two actors will be seen on television screens again after 19 years in the upcoming telefilm Roddure Peyechi Tomar Naam, which is directed by Rajibul Islam Rajib. “When we worked together in Ebong Bhalobasha, Purnima's role was of my wife's,” says Raisul Islam Asad. “This time, she is playing my daughter! It is lovely to be able to work with her again.”
