Husband-wife duo Azizul and Zeenat Hakim are teaming up to bring viewers a Valentine's Day special tele-film. Titled “Myth-jibi”, the narrative was adapted into a script by Zeenat Hakim from a story written by Dr. Mainul Khan. “Myth-jibi” is helmed by Azizul Hakim, and casts Mir Sabbir and Moutushi Biswas in starring roles.

The story explores the facets of a relationship that keep couples together. “It cannot merely thrive on love. A relationship grows deeper with dependency,” stated Zeenat Hakim.

While this marks the first time the lead actors are cast together in a venture helmed by Hakim, the director previously acted in a popular drama series directed by Mir Sabbir, titled “Noashal”. “I've always wanted to have my turn acting in a play directed by him since then,” stated Mir Sabbir.

Azizul Hakim is enthused by the actor returning the favour, saying: “Sabbir is adept in portraying the role from the director's point of view, and so I am glad to have him on board. As for Moutushi Biswas, she acts beautifully and I've always been a fan of her work.”

“Myth-jibi” is slated to be aired by Channel i on February 14.
