Exciting Eid ul Azha specials on television
With multiple channels airing exciting programmes throughout the festive season of Eid ul Azha, The Daily Star highlights on a compilation of some of the most delightful upcoming shows on TV. Similar to a feature that was published yesterday, this too follows up on some of the best our channels have to offer that the audience can look forward to.
Behind the Puppy, a seven-episode TV serial, directed by Redoan Rony, is scheduled to air on NTV from the first day of Eid, at 6:15 pm with a repeat telecast at 1:30 am. The cast comprises of Mosharraf Karim, Faruk Ahmed, Aparna Ghosh and Moushumi Hamid among others.
Veteran actor Afsana Mimi will host the show Celebrity Adda on Asain TV. Prominent celebrity couple, Alamgir and Runa Laila will feature as guests in the first part of the show. Celebrity Adda will air on Asian TV on the second day of Eid ul Adha at 7:10 pm.
A seven-episode TV serial titled Alal Dulal is scheduled to broadcast on BanglaVision from the first day of Eid at 8:40 pm. Scripted by Muntaha Britta and directed by Abu Hayat Mahmud, the TV serial will feature actors Zahid Hasan, Salauddin Lavlu, Nusrat Imrose Tisha, Sabnam Faria, Tania Ahmed and others.
Tauquir Ahmed’s critically acclaimed film Fagun Hawai, based on the 1952 Language Movement, will be telecast on Channel i on the second day of Eid ul Adha at 10:15 am. The stellar cast includes the likes of Nusrat Imrose Tisha, Siam Ahmed, Fazlur Rahman Babu, Abul Hayat and Yashpal Sharma among others.
The gorgeous Sharmin Lucky will be hosting the celebrity cooking show titled, Beef Fusion. The week-long programme is set to begin from the first day of Eid ul Adha, and will feature different celebrities. Beef Fusion will be aired on Ekushey Television at 12:30 pm. Bijori Barkatullah will be the guest on the fourth day of the show.
Nagorik TV will broadcast the seven-episode drama serial titled Bakir Naam Faki. It will air at 6:40 pm every day throughout the week. Written and directed by Shohag Kazi, the TV serial will feature Mir Sabbir, Ahona, Oliul Haque Rumi among others.
Maasranga Television will telecast the celebrity talk show Chemistry at 8 pm on the fifth day of Eid ul Adha. Hosted by Toya, the programme will feature renowned actors Mehzabien and Apurba.
