Duronto TV’s 9th season to kick off!
The 9th season of Duronto TV will commence on October 13. The new season will consist of four new programmes and three new cartoons in addition to the regularly televised shows.
Along with the running programmes, Ronger Khelay Shurer Bhelay, Cholo Jai Jai Jai, Dushtu Mishti, Bhooter Baksho and Rong Beronger Golpo, four new programmes will be aired. The programmes are: Mastermind Family Bangladesh, Khatta Meetha (3rd Series), Banai Mojar Khabar Ma-Baba Ar Ami and Sisimpur.
International Quiz Show Mastermind Family Bangladesh, presented by Chopstick, is a knowledge-based quiz show for children in Bangladesh. The quiz show is directed by Sumona Siddique and will be hosted by Nobonita Chowdhury. It will be aired on Duronto TV from October 13, onwards, from Sunday to Thursday at 8pm.
A new season of Khatta Meetha, directed by Mithun Hasan and Mohammad Ali, and researched by Dr Rashid Harun will start on October 18. The third season will be on air every Friday and Saturday at 7:30 pm and 9:30 pm. Ikri and her friends will also entertain the viewers with Sisimpur every day at 8:30 am, 12:30 pm and 5:30 pm from October 13.
Cooking show Banai Mojar Khabar Ma-Baba Ar Ami, featuring Chef Anee Reshma with her child, will focus on cooking healthy meals for children. Famous singers, actors, newscasters, dancers, and crickets will also be featured in the show. This programme, directed by Fahima Ahmed Chaiti, will be on Duronto TV every Friday and Saturday at 10 am from October 18.
New cartoon shows Ozie Boo! Save The Planet, Heidi and Big and Small will all be aired in this season.
The ‘Ozie School’ from Ozir Boo! Save The Planet, is built completely of ice, with frozen benches and pristine desks. Nelly, Ned, Fred, Ted, and Ed, energetic and curious little penguins studying at the school, ask questions on four major themes-- pollution, natural resources and climate, species in danger, and protection of the planet. The new cartoon series will be on Duronto TV every Friday and Saturday at 8 am and 1:30 pm from October 18.
New Cartoon Series Heidi, based on the journey of a young orphan girl living in the Alps with her grandfather, will be aired from October 13 from Sunday to Thursday at 8 am and 1:30 pm.
Big and Small, featuring of two unlikely best friends, is scheduled on all weekdays (Sunday to Thursday) at 9:30 am and 7:30 pm from October 13.
Cartoons Maya the Bee, Sweet Little Monsters, Eena Meena Deeka, The Jungle Book and Minuscule will continue to entertain the audience alongside these new cartoon shows.
