Mamo to play Chandramukhi!

Beloved National Award winning actor Zakia Bari Mamo will play the role of Chandramukhi in a telefilm inspired by Sarat Chandra's Devdas. Titled Jalsaagar, the telefilm is directed and written by Zakaraia Shoukhin. It is being produced for Eid.

Actor Apurbo will be seen in the role of Devdas, while Mehazabien will play Parvati.

“Both Chandramukhi and Parvati are iconic literary characters. Undoubtedly, I feel lucky to be playing Chandramukhi,” says Mamo.
