“Lipstick” debuts on Nagorik TV

Bangladesh's latest satellite channel Nagorik TV had its pilot airing yesterday. Joining its maiden journey is the newest drama series “Lipstick”, directed by Shihab Shaheen and starring popular TV actors Apurba and Momo.

Head of the programmes department Kamruzzaman Babu informed that the series first episode will be aired on March 1 and 2, at 8pm, and its subsequent episodes will be aired every Saturday to Monday at the same time.

Jointly written by Shihab Shaheen and Mezbah Uddin Shumon, the former stated that the narrative deals with everyday women's issues, and the unequal struggles they have to endure to make their way through life.
