Liberation War tele-film “Gopit” on Channel i

“Gopit”, a special tele-film themed on the Liberation War, will air today at 3:05pm on Channel i. Directed by Sazzad Sumon, it casts Jayanta Chattopadhyay, Runa Khan and Lutfar Rahman George in the central roles. 

Gofur is a popular barber of his village, and after river erosion takes away his barbershop, he goes on house calls on his bike to give haircuts. One day he goes on such a call, and meets Torab, who seems familiar to him but he can't clearly remember from where he knows him. In the meantime, Torab quickly leaves the area after he sees Gofur, and Gofur goes looking for him.
