Television pays tribute to Humayun Ahmed

Today on the death anniversary of prominent writer Humayun Ahmed, BTV will air a special episode of show “Shilpokotha” at 3: 30 pm. Hosted by Raju Alim, the show will feature a discussion participated by-- owner Anyaprokash Publications, Mazharul Islam; writer-researcher Shakoor Majid along with some of Humayun Ahmed's co-directors and a few song renditions by Meher Afroz Shaon and Selim Chowdhury.

Channel i

Channel i will air a special show “Anondo Bedonar Kabya”, conceptualised and directed by Raju Alim, anchored by Rokeya Prachi.  The show will highlight dimensions of Humayun Ahmed's career along with discussion about his novels, stories, TV plays, films, music and more. 

The programme will air at 9:30pm.

Maasranga Television 

July 19th marks the death anniversary of prolific writer and filmmaker Humayun Ahmed. Maasranga Television is to host a special programme as tribute to the late author. The programme, titled “Bohumatrik Humayun” will be hosted by noted writer Syed Shamsul Haque and Humayun Ahmed's wife Meher Afroz Shaon. It will be aired at 10:02am. From 2:30pm onwards, “Fair and Lovely Cine Town” will be aired showcasing popular tunes and musical scores from films, which will also feature song numbers from the late novelist's films. At 8:10pm the channel will air a telefilm based on Humayun Ahmed's story titled “Joitri,” directed by Meher Afroz Shaon and star noted actor Reaz among others. At 11pm a music programme titled “Nokkhotrer Raat” will be aired and feature Bari Siddiqui as host.
