“Full HD” entertains viewers

Viewers have been tuning into Maasranga TV to watch Mosharraf Karim and Moushumi Nag in the new drama series “Full HD”. Having recently aired its 25th episode, the Aronnyo Anwar scripted and helmed show has become quite a hit with the audience.

The show has been airing four days a week every Sunday through Wednesday at 8:15pm. Mosharraf Karim stars as Noren, who leaves his village for Dhaka with a dream to work in the film industry. Co-stars Moushumi Nag and Tahmeena Mou appear as movie stars in the series.

“The narrative is quite different from the usual plots seen on television, which is a refreshing change for the audience,” stated Mosharraf Karim.

Director Aronnyo Anwar informed The Daily Star that there are plans for the show to be eventually developed into a long running series. “We have kept that in mind from the beginning, and are developing the plot accordingly,” he added.

Actor Moushumi Nag shared that this is the first time she's playing the role of a film actor on television. “The role is something I relate to on an intimate level, and it has made the entire experience more wholesome and enjoyable,” she said.
