BTV airs “Harano Odhyay”

Bangladesh Television is adapting the late acclaimed filmmaker and litterateur Zahir Raihan's short story – “Harano Boloye”-- into a play titled “Harano Odhyay”. Adapted by Rabbi Ahmed, the initiative was planned to celebrate World Television Day.

The story highlights the emotional intricacies of university life. With a complicated, heartbreaking love triangle at its centre, the lead roles will be played by Adnan Faruk Hillol and Aparna Ghosh. A young man named Alam (played by Hillol) meets by chance, the love of his life from university, sparking off long forgotten memories and requiring both of them to adapt to new realities. 

Produced by Ruma Akhtar, the play will be aired today at BTV after the 8pm news.
