Three-day street theatre fest in Mymensingh

Twelve drama troupes from Mymensingh and adjacent region staged plays at a three-day Pathnatya Utsob (Street Theatre Festival) that began at Town Hall premises on Sunday evening.

The three-day festival, that concluded yesterday, was organised by Mymensingh Theatre Association and supported by Mymensingh Municipality. It was the 16th edition of the festival in Mymensingh, sources said.

On the inaugural day of the festival, Kongsha Theatre from Netrakona staged "Keramot Ali Canvasser" , followed by "Raktakto Bornomala" by Mukhosh Natya Sangstha; "Aartonad" by Natyalok  Samproday; and "Atmar Khobh" by Vision Natyangan. 

The other plays of the festival are- "Cookpokkhi" by Bidrohi Natya Goshthi; "Madon Dakter Remand'e" by Theatre Sanglap; "Rakkhushi" by Shapla Theatre; "Harmad" by Jagoroni Natya Goshthi; "Baur" by Bahurupi Natya Goshthi; "Eder Dhoriye Din" by Chhayanaut Sangskritik Sangstha; "Gharshatru Barbar" by Mymensingh Lokokristi Sangstha and while "Agami" by Sareng Theatre.
