'Macbeth' to be staged at Jorashanko Thakur Bari

"Macbeth", a popular production by Padatik Natya Sangsad (TSC) will be staged at a four-day Shakespeare Festival organised by the Department of Drama of Rabindra Bharati University, Kolkata from March 17-20.

Padatik will stage the play at Jorasanko Thakur Bari on March 19.

"Macbeth", the Shakespearean classic, has been translated in Bangla by Syed Shamsul Haq, while Sudip Chakroborhthy has directed the play.

"Macbeth" casts Shakhawat Shimul, Syeda Shamchi Ara, Hamidur Rahman Pappu, Moshiur Rahman, Javed Patwary, Jony, Rasel, Joy, Ikram, Shubha, Tanmoy, Lemon and Jewel.
