Desh Natok stages “Arokkhita” at BSA

Theatre troupe Desh Natok staged their 20th production "Arokkhita" at the National Theatre Hall of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy on Wednesday evening. 

The play, adapted from a particular segment of Mahabharat by Mahbub Lilen, has been directed by Ishrat Nishat. The play encircles mythical hero Acharya Srestho Shukra who has the immense power of giving life to the dead.

Shukra moves ahead with firm determination to revitalise all the soldiers who died in a war, but he somehow loses his supernatural power to his daughter Debjani's lover Koch, who proves to be an enemy spy.

The play casts Fahim Malik Evan, Ashim Kumar Notto, Ananto Kumar Khaa, Dilip Chakroborty, Mamun Chowdhury, Tithi Zaman and others.
