“Chor Chokkore” staged in Rangpur

Sharothi Nattya Sampraday, one of the leading cultural organisations of Rangpur, staged their 23rd production "Chor Chokkore" on Monday evening at Rangpur Town Hall.

Written and directed by Ashish Mohonto, the play was set against the backdrop of post-Liberation War Bangladesh. The play was vocal against corruption and called on people to work collectively for the betterment of the country.

Rawshanul Kawser designed lights, while Abdullah Al Mamun, Paritosh Kumar Buron, SM Arif-Uz-Zaman, Nasrin Sultana Chaity, Haimanti Shukla Roy Chowdhury, Sohel Rana, Alamgir Hossain Hridoy, Md. Golam Mostafa were in 
the cast among others.

A capacity audience enjoyed the theatrical production.
