Tanvir Tareque: A man of music
Tanvir Tareq is a popular music director, composer and TV anchor. In 2011, as music director he won the Citycell Channel i Music Award for the track “Duar” rendered by Subir Nandi.
He also bagged the award as best music composer. Meanwhile, singer Shaheed was nominated for Meril-Prothom Alo Award for the song “Bhabna Badol” composed under Tanvir's direction.
Tanvir has so directed music for over 50 songs and penned lyrics for around 200 tracks. He also did playback for 12 films and composed tunes for a good number of songs.
Besides the country's popular singers Ayub Bachchu, Partho Barua, Bappa Majumder, Samina Chowdhury and Fahmida Nabi, he directed music for Indian singer Kailash Kher. He also composed tunes for two songs of iconic singer James.
Tanvir is now busy with his solo album and playbacks for songs of four upcoming films. Although his solo albums were released earlier, he worked on a number of mixed albums.
Meanwhile, he is now emceeing TV programmes on ATN news and Asian TV. Apart from this, he has been anchoring popular programme “Media Gossip” on Asian TV for the last few years.
