Shilpo Probha celebrates fifth anniversary

Quarterly art magazine Shilpo Probha recently celebrated its fifth anniversary, through unveiling the cover of a special children's issue, an art exhibit and auction at the Baridhara Cosmopolitan Club.

Finance Minister AMA Muhith was the chief guest at the ceremony, where Society for Promotion of Bangladesh Art (SPBA) chairman and publisher of Shilpo Probha Anjan Chowdhury was present, along with chief patron of Proyas Soma Haque. Some 44 special-needs children, students of Proyas Specialized School (operated by Bangladesh Army), noted artists and diplomats and art collectors were present.

A total of 76 artworks by Proyas School and famed artists were displayed and auctioned at the exhibition.
