SHAKIB KHAN to produce 'Piya Re'

Shakib Khan is undoubtedly the busiest and highest paid film star of the present time in the country. Besides acting, Shakib is also a producer. He forayed into production with “Hero Number 1” under the banner of his production house SK Films.

Shakib has announced that he will produce his new film “Piya Re”. Written by Abdullah Zahir Babu, Shamim Ahmed Rony will direct the film. 

Shakib Khan will play the male lead in the film. However, the lead female has not been decided yet.

Asked who will play the role Shakib said, “The story requires a new face. We are looking for a heroine for the film. As soon as we find Piya, we will make an announcement.”  

Meanwhile, Shakib will start shooting his new film “Shikari” from today. Ace Tollywood actress Srabonti will play the female lead alongside Shakib Khan.

Shakib has travelled to Kolkata where the first phase of the film will be shot. After that shooting will take place in Dhaka and the UK.

The film is jointly produced being by Jaaz Multimedia and Kolkata's Eskay Movies.
