NASIRUDDIN YOUSUFF

Saidul Anam Tutul was a childhood friend of mine, we grew up together in Dhaka. We participated in independence rallies together. We even went to the independence war together.  When we established Dhaka Theatre in 1973, he was there with me. He acted in the very first play of Dhaka Theatre, Sangbad Cartoon. He also acted in the very popular Muntasir Fantasy. I have lost a friend and a comrade.

TARIQ ANAM KHAN

He was not just my paternal cousin, but my inspiration. When I was younger, I used to be in awe of his talent in both television and radio. I even went to Pune to study because he did so himself. I did not get to work in too many projects alongside him, but Dokhiner Ghor alongside him was an honour.

MASUM REZA

He was not only a beloved name in the world of television, but one of the most talented. As an editor, he was exceptional. I have worked in many projects with him, and share many fond memories with him. Whichever tele-fiction I wrote, he worked his magic on them and made them beautiful. We had great chemistry together, and I will just say that he left us too soon.

CHANCHAL CHOWDHURY

At the beginning of the career, I did a lot of work under his direction. Boral Parer Sheetlai Gau was a very popular regular tele-fiction of that time. When I worked on that, I realised how much he loved and treasured his work. He had a profound respect for his work and all the artistes as well. He looked after their welfare, and even made sure that they got paid on time. I still can't believe that he is no more with us.

SHABREEN SHAKA MEEM

I can't explain how I am feeling right now, I am in total shock. From being a child artiste to becoming a lead actor, he was always there beside me. At that time, people worried about my transition between these roles, but he believed in me and cast me in many of his acclaimed projects. In Rubaiyer Diary, which is particularly memorable for me, I played Rubai and I can never forget the experience.
