Re-telecast of “Ityadi” today
Baliyati Zaminder Estate of Manikganj under spotlight
Popular variety show “Ityadi” is credited for highlighting our culture, history and heritage. Historic venues where the show has been shot generate viewer interest.
A special episode of the show that was shot at the famed Baliyati Zaminder Estate under Saturia upazilla of Manikganj on June 12, 2010, will re-telecast today (August 10) at 9pm simultaneously on BTV and BTV World.
Apart from regular segments and special reports, the highlights of the show include two songs, written by Mohammad Rafiquzzaman and composed by Ali Akbar Rupu respectively. Noted folk singer Momotaj has lent voice for one song while the patriotic song has been recorded by noted singers Md. Abdul Jabbar, Syed Abdul Hadi, Andrew Kishore and Kumar Bishwajit and shot at several districts of Bangladesh.
