Raima Sen in Sandip Ray's next

Raima Sen will pair up with Abir Chatterjee in Sandip Ray's upcoming Tollywood film. The yet-untitled film is an adaptation of Saradindu Bandyopadhyay's “Monchuri”, which revolves around a thief.

Sandip is taking a break from making Feluda and had expressed his desire to work on a Byomkesh film, but this project will be his first foray outside the Shree Venkatesh Films umbrella after a long time.

Abir Chatterjee, Paran Bandopadhyay, Saswata Chatterjee and Raima Sen will be part of the film. Incidentally, all the actors, apart from Raima, were in Sandip's “Char”. With Abir, the bond seems to be growing stronger, as the actor was roped in to play Feluda in “Badshahi Angti”. The shooting will begin in mid September. 

If all goes well, the film will release around Christmas.
