Zahid Hasan’s new series for BTV in the works

National Film Award-winning actor Zahid Hasan has also made a significant mark in television direction. Currently, he is directing Pichutan, a new series for BTV. "This is the first time that I am working on a drama series for the channel," shares Zahid Hasan. "BTV is also producing the show."

The shooting of the series is scheduled to start from October 1, at the BTV headquarters in Rampura. It is written by Zakir Hossain Uzzal. Apart from directing, Zahid Hasan also plays one of the lead characters on the show.

Featuring Dilara Zaman, Tareen, Tanvin Sweety, Shaju Khadem, Mili Basher, Dr Ejajul Islam, Ali Raj and Arfan among others, Pichutan will revolve around a family. 

 "I am thrilled to work on a big project for BTV, as my initial recognition as an actor came through the channel," says Zahid Hasan.

"I have been working with BTV for more than fifty years, and it has always been wonderful," says Dilara Zaman. "Zahid Hasan is infinitely talented, and I am glad to be a part of this project."

 Tanvin Sweety also shared that she is excited to be working in the project under Zahid Hasan's direction.

"I have been extremely busy with this project. My only focus is to bring quality content for the audience," concludes Zahid Hasan.
