Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield rumoured to appear in ‘Spider-Man 3’

Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield are rumoured to be reprising their respective Spider-Man roles, next to Tom Holland's Peter Parker in "Spider-Man 3."

It is speculated that Holland's character will be facing  many Spider-Man villains from across Sony's Spider-Man movies, along with some new ones. Maguire's Spider-Man and Garfield's Spider-Man will join Holland's universe to help him defeat them.

Benedict Cumberbatch's Doctor Strange will also be joining the film.

Jamie Foxx, who played Electro in Sony's "The Amazing Spider-Man 2," confirmed in a since-deleted Instagram post that he will be returning as Electro in this new outing. However, he shared that Electro would not have the same completely blue look when he returns.

If all these speculations are anything to go by, the new Spider-Man movie will in fact, create the first live-action Spider-verse.
