Taneem Rahman Angshu’s Eid special series ‘Golpo Golpo Khela’ features seven thrilling stories

National Award-winning director Taneem Rahman Angshu has come up with seven short films for the television series, "Golpo Golpo Khela". The screenplays of the short films are written by Sakib Hasan Badhon.

The Eid special series kicked off with "Iching Biching Private Coaching" on the first day of Eid on Deepto TV, followed by "Lashe Gelam Feshe" and "Ginner Biye", on the second and third day, respectively. "Meaw" will be aired on the fourth day while "Beimaan Pakhi", "Khata Khati", and "Kiekta Obosta" will be televised on the fifth, sixth and seventh day, respectively.

"After receiving a warm response for my feature film 'No Dorai', I have been unable to put up anything for my audience for the last one and a half years due to the coronavirus pandemic. This break inspired me to come up with the idea of 'Golpo Golpo Khela'," shares Angshu. "This series features fantasies, supernatural narratives, comedies, mysteries, and thrillers."

The series features renowned actors, including Rafiath Rashid Mithila, Manoj Kumar Pramanik, Tanjin Tisha, Lutfur Rahman George, Sadika Shorna, and Taufiqul Hasan Nihal, among many others. Produced by Alpha-i, the productions are being televised at 10 pm on Deepto TV, everyday. In addition, "Golpo Golpo Khela" will be available for streaming on Bioscope.
