Six singers from two Bengals sing of love and courage

On the occasion of Eid, virtual programs are being broadcasted by several channels. A star-studded song will be aired on BTV's Ananda Mela, where Tapan Chowdhury, Kumar Bishwajit, Chandan Sinha, Raghav Chattopadhyay, Joy Sarkar and Usha Uthup gave their voices. "Esho Esho Shundore", penned by Kabir Bakul and composed by Emon Chowdhury, will air on the channel this Eid.

The artistes recorded their bits while sitting at home. "I am happy to give voice to the song made by Tapan Chowdhury and Chandan Sinha, and three of my favorite artistes from India," says Kumar Bishwajit.

"It is a real pleasure to share such a wonderful song with many others in both Bangladesh and India", says Usha Uthup.

Renowned lyricist Kabir Bakul, "This is a song of love and courage. In a time of global crisis, our places of prayer are one. Both neighbouring countries, India and Bangladesh were attacked at the same time, and I have tried to express solidarity from that thought."

The song will be broadcast at 10:30 pm at Eid Ananda Mela. The programme is produced by Mahfuza Akhter.
