Shakib Lohani's 'Patroput' launched

A poetry book titled Patroput, along with a recitation album called Prokriti O Manush by poet and elocutionist Shakib Lohani was recently launched at the auditorium of Bishwo Shahitto Kendro on commemorating the 83rd birthday of late poet Fazal Shahabuddin. The poetry magazine Kobikantho organised the program. Prominent Bangladeshi poets -- Nurul Huda, Jahidul Huq, Aminur Rahman and Maksudul Ahsan along with poetic luminaries from abroad like Julio Pavanetti and Annabel Villar from Uruguay, Dr Ali Al-Shalah from Iraq, Claire Booker from Great Britain, Dr Tianxin Cai of China attended the programme. Poet Aminur Rahman, editor of Kabikontho, moderated the launching programme.
