Shajghor.com organises ‘Framing Your Moments’ and Churi Mela at Drik Gallery

Shajghor.com hosted Framing Your Moments, a photography exhibition at Drik Gallery, which concluded recently.

Visitors of different ages crowded the venue, despite the rainfall. Some came to take a look at the photographs taken by the participants, while others came for the glass bangles and other accessories that were sold at different stalls in Churi Mela, which was also going on at that time.. Shajghor.com started their journey just six months ago.  

A total of 76 photographs from different backgrounds were chosen, out of hundreds. The entries were judged by visual artist Shabbir Rahman, who is also a faculty member at Begart Institute of Photography. 

“Most of the photographs at the exhibition were by aspiring photographers, who we aimed to promote,” said Md Mehedi Hasan, member of the managerial panel of Shajghor.com. “We also aimed to reconnect people with the traditions and culture of our country through the Churi Mela.”
