'Reincarnate II' inaugurates at Bangladesh Mahila Samity

South Asian regional art and film festival Reincarnate II, organised by Bandhu Social Welfare Society, was inaugurated yesterday at Bangladesh Mahila Samity. Kazi Reazul Haque, Chairman, National Human Rights Commission, was the chief guest of the inauguration ceremony. 

The special guests of the event included HE Benoit Prefontaine, High Commissioner of Canada to Bangladesh, HE Rene Holenstein, Ambassador of Switzerland to Bangladesh, HE Harry Verweij, Ambasaddor of Kingdom of the Netherlands to Bangladesh, and HE Sidsel Bleken, Ambassador of Norway to Bangladesh, among others. A cultural programme, along with an art exhibition Life was held after the inauguration.

Reincarnate II will continue till tomorrow. Today, it will take place at EMK Centre, Dhanmondi, Dhaka. Art exhibition, film screening inauguration with the presence of Kabori Sarowar, renowned actor of Bangla movie, and filmmaker and activist Sridhar Rangayan, and a panel discussion will be held today. Tomorrow, the festival will conclude with dance drama Chitrangada at Bangladesh Mahila Samity.
