Rafiqul Alam and Abida Sultana team up for musical soiree in Europe

Eminent Bangladeshi musicians Rafiqul Alam and Abida Sultana, is set to attend a cultural programme in Munich, Germany on June 23. The Bangladeshi community in Munich arranged the event as a part of their Eid festivities, where they have invited the duo to entertain expatriates.

Rafiqul Alam informed that along with his own songs, he will also be performing songs by the Pancha Kabi (five leading poets). Abida Sultana will amuse the audience with her original numbers and some folk songs as well.

The musicians are scheduled to fly into Europe today. Apart from the musical segment, the organisers have also made arrangements for dance, recitation and other entertaining activities. If all goes well, the musicians may also visit Italy to attend a similar programme.
