Nrityanchal’s Chhau dance workshop underway

Prominent dance company Nrityanchal is currently hosting a Chhau dance workshop, conducted by Chhau exponent Swapan Majumder, from India. The workshop, which began on June 15, will continue till the 22nd.  This initiative is coordinated by Shamim Ara Nipa and Shibli Mohammad. Over 100 students of Nrityanchal are participating in this workshop.

The participating students will be awarded with certificates after the completion of the workshop.  They will present a Chhau dance performance on June 23 at the Bangladesh Mahila Samity’s Nilima Ibrahim Auditorium at 7 pm.
