‘Made in Bangladesh’ to release virtually in the US

Director Rubaiyat Hussain Made in Bangladesh will get a virtual release in theatres across the United States on August 28.

Over 30 US independent theatres have signed up to participate in the virtual release of Made in Bangladesh," Rubaiyat said in a Facebook post. She mentioned that audiences will be able to choose which theatre to support, when they purchase tickets.

The film was released earlier in France, Denmark, Portugal and Canada.

Made in Bangladesh, revolving around the life of a garment factory worker who fights for the rights of the employees after a co-worker is killed in her factory, features Nandini Shimu, Novera Rahman, Deepanwita Martin and Parvin Paru, among others.
