Jaya Ahsan signs ‘OCD’

Jaya Ahsan has signed the deal for her newest film, "OCD", directed by Soukarya Ghoshal. Previously, Jaya starred in "Bhootpuri", directed by Soukarya. The latter is yet to be released.

"The shooting for this film will start from February 1 and I am playing the lead role in the film," confirms Jaya with The Daily Star. "The story is a psychological drama; Anashua Majumdar, Kaushik Sen, and Koneenica Banerjee among others will appear in other roles."

Jaya Ahsan recently wrapped up shooting for the film, "Nakshi Kanthar Jamin", based on noted novelist Hasan Azizul Haque's novel, "Bidhobader Kotha".

Popular OTT platform Hoichoi recently recognised Jaya Ahsan as the "Best Performance of the Year" for the year 2020.
