Bangladesh is a land of natural beauty, with many heritage sites and fascinating architecture. We have the world’s longest sea beach in Cox’s Bazar, and the largest mangrove forest of the world -- the Sundarbans. On the other hand, we have historical architecture, including the likes of Ahsan Manzil, Curzon Hall, National Parliament Building, among others.

Hat Bakso, a Bangladeshi designing and manufacturing firm, has taken the initiative of projecting Bangladesh globally through producing miniature replicas of popular tourist spots, historical sites and architectural beauties of the country. Having started its journey in 2015, it came to market in 2017 after intensive research and product development. Besides miniature replicas, it also produces fridge magnets, key rings, thematic wall frames, bookmarkers, paper weights and other traditional decorative products.

Hat Bakso is administered by five Dhaka University Alumni -- Md Shafat Kadir, Founder and CEO, Md Robiul Hossain Jewel, Founder and Creative Head, Md Morsalin Anik, Supply Chain Head, Md Khairul Bashar Sazal, Admin Head and Tanzina Tareq Nitol, Head of Communications.

“Despite having some beautiful historical and architectural beauties, no initiatives were taken to design their miniature forms,” says Robul islam Jewel, “That’s why we took the initiative. We developed miniatures of prominent structures like the National Parliament Building, National Memorial, Shaheed Minar, Aparajeyo Bangla, Lalbagh Fort, Curzon Hall and Ahsan Manzil.”

Currently, Hat Bakso is selling their products through their Facebook page. They have already received bulk orders from different ministries, universities, hotels, resorts and corporate bodies. The company plans to open an outlet soon.
