A General Diary (GD) was filed at 3:30 pm on May 17 by Somoy TV against Sa Re Ga Ma famed singer Mainul Ahsan Noble for threatening Somoy tv journalist Al Kachir over a phone call on May 16.

According to the journalist Al Kachir, he had called the singer to verify a news after he posted a status on his Facebook fan page 'Noble Man' announcing his death time being May 18, 2021. "I was working the night shift that day and after coming across his status, I called him around 12:45 am to confirm if he was planning a suicide. Noble was very rude with his words and had even abused me just upon answering the call," says Al Kachir.

After talking over the phone for about half a minute, Al Kachir disconnected the call. However, within a couple of minutes, Noble called him back, threatening to kidnap him and throw him in jail.

A few days ago, Noble was injured in a road accident where the singer claimed that he was trying to save an aged individual. However, later an eye-witness named Shoaib Bin Ahsan's statement on Facebook regarding the incident claimed otherwise.

According to his statement, Noble was riding on the wrong side of the road near Gulshan Azad Mosque. His speeding bike had hit a pedestrian. Both of them were gravely injured. While the pedestrian was rushed to Labaid Specialised Hospital and later to Shahabuddin Medical College Hospital, the singer claimed to be fine and left the location.

Following these turn of events, Somoy Tv did a news expressing the other side of Noble'as story. "I believe this is what has aggravated him and thus, he ended up behaving in such a manner when I had called him," adds Al Kachir.

No further communication has happened between the singer and Al kachir after that. However, he has thrown an open challenge on his Facebook. His post reads: "An open challenge to all the journalists in the world. I dare you to pluck a hair from my body. It has been long since I have had a haircut."
