'Game of Thrones' documentary to air after series finale

Reports claim that HBO will air a two-hour feature documentary, Game of Thrones: The Last Watch on May 26. It chronicles the making of the final season, and follows a week after the series finale of Game of Thrones airs on May 19. According to HBO, the documentary directed by British filmmaker Jeanie Finlay, “delves deep into the mud and blood to reveal the tears and triumphs involved in the challenge of bringing the fantasy world of Westeros to life in the very real studios, fields and car-parks of Northern Ireland.”

Overall, the feature will give fans a behind-the-scenes look at all aspects of production, following the cast and crew as they endure extreme weather conditions on set, as well as tough deadlines and more.
