Gaan Bangla celebrates 7 year-long journey

Gaan Bangla Television, the only music channel in the country, started its journey in 2013, with a marvelous Victory Day programme. Through this platform, the channel has successfully managed to create a place for our musical legends and aspiring artistes, both home and abroad.

They have been regularly airing for local and international musical programmes and featuring musicians from all around the world. Within just 7 years, this channel has emerged as a promising platform with its programme "Wind of Change", where they feature renowned local and international musicians.  The regular programme aims at preaching peace and harmony through music throughout the world with their motto "Music for Peace".

With time and innovation, Managing Director and CEO of the One More Zero Group and Gaan Bangla Television, Kaushik Hossain Taposh and Farzana Munny, who is the Chairperson, took turned Gaan Bangla into a global brand. Together, they have received the Dadasaheb Phalke Award, Mother Teresa International Award, among many other accolades.

"Every year, we start a new chapter with this channel on the auspicious occasion of Victory Day. Gaan Bangla has become the face of the music industry and we have received nothing but praises and love," says National Award-winning composer Kaushik Hossain Taposh.  "We look forward to numerous such years."

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, no face-to-face events will be organised this year at the channel's official premises. However, television programmes and live virtual events will air on the channel and their official social media platforms.

"I believe music has the power to eliminate darkness from the world and melody has the ability to unite us," shared  Farzana Munny. "Let's all be together and aid each other while music aids our minds."
