OTT platform Chorki released the first official poster of their upcoming anthology series, "Unoloukik," across social media recently. Based on stories by noted author Shibobroto Bormon, the show is directed by Robiul Alam Robi.

"The stories in this series are adapted from speculative fiction," shares the director. "They are set in real-life surroundings. Though it has themes of death, commodity, mental health, crime, and violence, among other things, the series does not necessarily just project the typical concepts that we have regarding these issues. It presents a cinematic fusion of reality and unreality."

"Unoloukik" consists of five episodes: "Moriber Holo Tar Shadh", "Dwikhondito", "Hello Ladies", "Miss Prohelikha" and "Don't Right me." Each episode will be released on Chorki, on five consecutive Thursdays. This project marks the OTT platform debut of acclaimed actor and Member of Parliament Asaduzzaman Noor. It features Chanchal Chowdhury and Nusrat Imrose Tisha in key roles. The cast also includes Gazi Rakayet, Intekhab Dinar, Iresh Zaker, Rafiath Rashid Mithila, Mostafa Monwar, Sohail Mandal, Farhana Hamid, and Naziba Basher, among others.

"Working with such an amazing cast has been a learning experience. I believe they are stars today for their performances and as a director, I have only wanted to showcase their brilliance through my stories," adds Robi.

The series is jointly produced by Film Noir and Film Syndicate.

"The adaptations on the show focus on alternative reality, but each story is different. The stories were so fascinating that we wanted to turn them into a cinematic experience for the audience," shares Syed Ahmed Shawki, the production designer of the show.

"Unoloukik" is expected to release on Chorki during the upcoming Eid-Ul-Azha.
