Film Producers Association election held after 7 years

The Film Producers Association election was held in a festive environment on July 27, at the Bangladesh Film Development Corporation (FDC). The election, which took place after seven long years, saw a total of 130 producers vote for the working years of 2019-2021. Actors Shakib Khan, Anjana, Jaya Ahsan, Alamgir and Nirob also voted, as they are also producers. 

Khorshed Alam received the most votes, with the second highest votes going to Shamsul Alam. The winners and contenders for the panel are: M N Ispahani, Kamal Mohammad Kibria, Mehedi Hasan Siddiqui, Morshed Khan, Rashidul Alam, Zahid Hossain, A J Rana, Mohammad Hossain, Yasmin Haque Bobby, Kamal Hasan, Apurba Roy, Nadir Khan, Shahidul Alam, Ila Jahan, Mohammad Iqbal, Dani Sidak and Alimullah Khokon. 

Among the 19 winners, 10 will be voted today to make the committee. The previous committee had Sohail Rana and Dipjol as the President and General Secretary respectively.
