Just a day after its release on Netflix, internationally acclaimed director Mostofa Sarwar Farooki's feature film "Doob" (No Bed of Roses) secured the first spot on Netflix's Top 10 most watched movies and shows list in Bangladesh. The director expressed his gratitude through a Facebook post.

"Thank you, Bangladesh for making Doob (No Bed of Roses) today's (February 6) most viewed content on Netflix from Bangladesh!" he wrote.

He further added, "Every film is a labor of love. Some are just more than that. This film is very close to my heart for many reasons! Someday I might be able to write why!"

"Doob" is an India-Bangladesh joint venture produced by Jaaz Multimedia and Eskay Movies, with Irrfan Khan as a co-producer.

Released in October 2017, it features Nusrat Imrose Tisha, Irrfan Khan, Rokeya Prachy and Parno Mittra in the lead roles.

Farooki is currently busy in shooting for a web series for a popular OTT platform, details of which are yet to be announced.
