‘Expecto Patronum!’ successfully hosted by Litmosphere

Popular online book club Litmosphere recently hosted Expecto Patronum!, a creative event with the aim to bring together book lovers and fans of J K Rowling’s Harry Potter.

The event showcased merchandise from different shops and included themed activities, panel discussions and other exciting arrangements. The entrance was a replica of the disappearing wall that led to Diagon Alley in the Harry Potter series, and the interior walls featured Hogwarts House banners, posters featuring popular characters, realistic models of dementors, alongside attractive decor pieces.

 Stalls set up by Litmosphere, Newton’s Archive, Epilogue, Kraftz, Ace of Spades BD, The Banglish Design Project, Subhu Bakes, Made With Love, Good Ol’ Outfits, Sugar Shots, and The Red Window were popular amongst the visitors. Items on sale included Wizarding World themed bookmarks, notebooks, scented candles, wands, and Hogwarts House-themed cupcakes.

Visitors were welcome to take photographs with Kai, the dog, at a photo booth for a small fee, all proceeds of which have been donated to Care for Paws. Kai, a lively German Shepherd, is a therapy dog for his owner Iffat Sumaiya, a member of Litmosphere.

Tasnuva Ashraf Umama and Kazi Ashfaqul Huq from the platform Healthy Minds and Nayeema Reza and Sonom Rahnuma from the platform Hobby Ki? participated in a panel discussion on why compassion and hobbies are important for mental health, moderated by journalist and writer, Sabrina Fatma Ahmad.
