Endless lines for ‘Endgame’

Avengers: Endgame is a 2019 American superhero film, based on the Marvel Comics superhero team – the Avengers, produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. The movie’s release at Star Cineplex and Blockbuster Cinemas today sparked borderline violent enthusiasm amongst the Avengers fandom as they rallied to theatres yesterday morning from as early as 2 am to buy their tickets for the premiere show. The first weekend of shows at both Cineplexes at Bashundhara City and Shimanto Shomvar, as well as Blockbuster Cinemas at Jamuna Future Park were sold out by 2 pm on Thursday. “I had someone stand in line outside Shimanto Shomvar since 5 am yesterday morning to buy me a ticket for the premiere show,” said Sharf Ahmed Saadh, one of the many diehard fans of the franchise. “I have also disabled my Facebook account to avoid spoilers of any sort till I watch the movie.”

The film is directed by Anthony Russo and Joe Russo, written by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely and features an ensemble all-star cast including Robert Downey Jr, Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Paul Rudd, Brie Larson, Karen Gillan, Danai Gurira, Bradley Cooper, and Josh Brolin. In the film, the surviving members of the Avengers and their allies work to reverse the damage caused by Thanos in Infinity War.
