Edge’s online art exhibition for the fight against COVID-19

Edge, the Foundation, is hosting an online charity exhibition to support those who are most affected by the coronavirus pandemic. Proceeds from the art exhibition will be donated to funds for young artists, art-related charities and the homeless.

The participating artists, who have showcased their artworks for the benevolent cause, include Anisuzzaman, Anukul Chandra Mojumder, Hamiduzzaman Khan, Ivy Zaman, Jamal Ahmed, Kanak Chanpa Chakma, Maksuda Iqbal Nipa, Mohammad Eunus, Mohammad Iqbal, Ranjit Das, Rokeya Sultana, Shahid Kabir, Tajuddin Ahmed and Tejosh Halder Josh.

Audiences may view and buy the artworks on Edge's website, www.edgethefoundation.com and on their Facebook page, www.facebook.com/EdgeTheFoundation/ as well.

Edge Gallery will also display the artworks at their space at Bay's Edgewater (Ground Floor), NE (N) 12, North Avenue, Gulshan-2. Viewing can be arranged by appointments. Edge is a platform that serves as a springboard for creative talent to reach out to a worldwide audience. Since its inauguration in March 24, 2016, the foundation has been involved in several programmes to support artists.

The exhibition, which opened on May 1, will continue till May 15.
