Documentary on ‘Concert for Bangladesh’ in the works

On the 48th anniversary of the historic Concert for Bangladesh, an organisation named Friends of Freedom arranged a programme titled Tribute to George Harrison, Pandit Ravi Shankar on August 1 at Jackson Heights, USA. Amongst the tribute in the programme, writer Shamim Al Amin, also the coordinator of Friends of Freedom, announced that a documentary on the Concert for Bangladesh was in the works. The event was presided by Dr Ferdous Khandaker, and Ambassador Masud Bin Momen, Representative of Bangladesh to the United Nations in New York, was the chief guest.
