De | Real exhibition: A curatorial research project in response to the global pandemic

De | Real, A digital collaborative project created by 26 multidisciplinary Bangladeshi collaborators from different parts of the globe, will reflect and question the ethos of our new realities. Organised from July 15 to 28, this exhibition is a part of an ongoing curatorial research by Kehkasha Sabah, an Independent curator and researcher from Bangladesh.

Kehkasha's research questions and covers a wide range of inquiries in the new era of art, as we continue to live through the pandemic. This project intends to educate future young artists about different practices, by accommodating alternative tools.

The works of this project are process-based or collaborative, using any or all digital platforms, tools available. In the two-week project display, there will be scheduled live talk and performances as well.

Abir Shome, Fahema Ahmed, Fouzia Mahin Chowdhury, Emdadul Haque Tapu, Tilottoma Bhowmick, Yasmin Jahan Nupur, Yuvraj Zahed A. Chowdhury and Monon Muntaka along with 15 other artists from Bangladesh will participate at the event. Mihir Moshiur Rahman from Poland, Aklima Iqbal from Vienna, Austria, along with the talk platform- Art + Adda = Artda, will be featured in the event.

This interactive and participatory platform will be open for all audiences. EMK Center is supporting the projects' virtual presence. The full schedule of the exhibition will be available on its Facebook event page.
