Bongo introduces seven original Telefilms based on books

Media tech company and OTT platform Bongo recently announced "BoB" (Based on books), where 7 telefilms adapted from the best sellers of the Ekushey Boi Mela 2020 will be showcased this Eid.

The platform had been focusing on Bongo originals every year on this occasion, but production has slowed down significantly due to the pandemic.

The seven authors, from whose work the films will stem from are Shahaduz Zaman, Sadat Hossain, Rahitul Islam, Shibabrata Barman, Mahbub Morshed, Jobaed Ahsan and Maruf Rehman.

The telefilms are "Shohore Tukro Roud", "Ali Baba Chollish Chor", "Moronottor", "Laboni", "Chorer Master", "Mr. K" and "Kemne Ki",

The seven directors -- Animesh Aich, Noor Imran Mithu, Iftekhar Ahmed Fahmi, Sanjoy Somaddar, Wahid Tareq, Vicky Zahed and Golam Haider Kisloo – will bring these stories to life.

For the first time, legendary actor Ilias Kanchan will be seen on an OTT platform, through this project. Partha Barua, Ishrat Jahan Chaiti, Azmeri Haque Badhon, Partha Barua, Manoj Pramanik, Mumtahina Toya, Ashna Habib Bhabna, among many others, will be featured in the films.

The stories will also be broadcasted on Deepto, Ekushey, Gazi and Channel 9 television channels and can be streamed exclusively on Bongo's OTT platform at www.bongobd.com, or users can download the iOS, TV or Android App.
